What a day!
The Lydia House Community Outreach is grateful to share that our 2026 Give Back Block Party & Cookout was a tremendous success.
Together, we served and fed 227 members of our community, providing not only meals, but also connection, encouragement, and access to resources.
Throughout the event, community members shared needs for food assistance, clothing support, and prayer. These conversations reminded us why this work matters. Every interaction represented a person, a family, or a story deserving of care and compassion.
We were especially encouraged by the strong presence of volunteers, community partners, supporters, and neighbors who came together with a common purpose: to help meet needs and strengthen our community.
The atmosphere was filled with kindness, generosity, and genuine concern for one another. We witnessed people connecting with resources, building relationships, and finding support from individuals and organizations committed to making a difference.
To every volunteer, donor, sponsor, partner, and attendee—thank you. Your contributions made this event possible and helped create a day that impacted lives far beyond the meals that were served.
This event may be over, but our work continues.
Together, we remain committed to being a beacon of hope for the least, the last, the lost, and the left behind.
